WJFC Wind-up
Please see below the flyer for the Wind-Up this Sunday for you to pass on to your team. The Auskickers will have their presentations after their sessions in the morning and the main wind-up will be from 4.30pm.
This is a rough idea of what will be happening:
3.00pm Our year 10 boys will be playing on Wembley Oval and a win will guarantee them a spot in the Grand Final. This would represent the clubs first GF appearance since 2018 and the first for the year 10s ever.
3.30pm Fire up the BBQ – It would be great to have some volunteers if anyone is at a loose end
4.00pm Clubrooms open
~4.20pm Formalities begin including
- thank you to our volunteers and sponsors
- presentation of the magpie art to the club
- acknowledgement of 50 game players (I will send a list separately for you to check who is due to receive a cap this year)
~4.45pm Teams break up into groups and complete their presentations, handing out photos and medallions (and trophies for year 7-10 teams)
